There’s so much to see and explore in Las Vegas that it can be easy to stretch your wallet. While there are plenty of fantastic shows and performances you can pay to see, there are also some great opportunities for entertainment that won’t break the bank.

Below are the best free shows in Vegas to help you get the most out of your trip:

 

The Fountains of Bellagio

Where: Bellagio Hotel & Casino

What Is It?

The Fountains of Bellagio are a world-famous attraction, showcasing an incredible spectacle of lights and water that appear to “dance” to an arrangement of songs. The fountains can be seen for free directly in front of the Bellagio, off of Las Vegas Boulevard. This show is perfectly timed and great for kids and adults.

When Is It?

You can catch the performance daily during your stay in Vegas, with the show occurring every 30 minutes, Monday through Friday, from 3 pm to 8 pm and every 15 minutes from 8 pm to midnight.

On Saturdays and Sundays, the performance is every 30 minutes from 12:00 p.m. to 8 pm and every 15 minutes from 8 pm to midnight.

 

Circus Acts at Circus Circus

Where: Circus Circus Hotel & Casino

What Is It?

Circus Circus puts on daily performances of free circus shows to delight crowds of all ages. Enjoy countless tricks and stunts such as ladder swinging, tightrope walking, juggling, balancing acts, and more.

When Is It?

Performances occur daily, starting at 1:30 pm Monday through Thursday, and go on regularly until the evening.

Shows begin at 11:30 am on Fridays and Saturdays. The full schedule is on the Circus Circus website.

 

Performances at the Grand Canal Shoppes

Where: Grand Canal Shoppes at the Venetian Resort

What Is It?

The Venetian is one of the most iconic hotels in Vegas. The Grand Canal Shoppes compliment the hotel’s theme of the beautiful Italian city, right down to the canals and gondola rides. While shopping or dining, you can enjoy free shows featuring musicians, singers, actors, and more.

When Is It?

You can experience a free taste of Italian entertainment daily from 10 am to 10 pm.

 

Mirage Volcano

Where: The Mirage

What Is It?

The Mirage boasts one of the most unique features on the Vegas Strip – an artificial volcano that erupts and bursts hot plumes of fire into the air. It’s an exciting and memorable experience for kids and adults that can be experienced nightly, free of charge.

When Is It?

Eruptions are every hour throughout the week from 8 pm to 11 pm. It’s a great spectacle to see if you’re on the Strip at night.

 

The Atlantis Show

Where: Caesars Palace

What Is It?

Inside the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace, you can marvel at a series of statues that spring to life every day. The Atlantis Show tells the story of King Atlas’ journey of choosing a successor to his throne. The statues depict a thrilling animatronic battle, complete with a fire-breathing dragon and water spray.

When Is It?

The Atlantis Show runs Thursday – Monday and plays on the hour every hour from 12 pm – 8 pm.

 

Weekend Fashion Shows

Where: Fashion Show Mall

What Is It?

True to its name, the Fashion Show Mall puts on live fashion shows every weekend. Models showcase the latest clothes from top designers, transporting you from Vegas to Paris Fashion Week! If you want to enjoy some high-end, low-key entertainment on your trip, this is where you’ll want to be.

When Is It?

Fashion shows occur from 12 pm to 5 pm throughout the weekend.

 

Mermaids at Silverton

Where: Silverton Casino Hotel

What Is It?

Have you ever dreamed of seeing a real-life mermaid? At the Silverton Casino Hotel, that dream can come true!

Mermaids at the Silverton dance, sing and bring the hotel’s aquarium to life in a free show. And the mermaids are only part of the attraction – you can also enjoy the beautiful exotic fish and sea creatures in the massive aquarium.

When Is It?

Mermaid performances occur on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays starting at 12 pm, 2 pm, and 5 pm.

On Sundays, the schedule changes slightly to 10:30 am, 2 pm, and 5 pm.
