Impact Capital Partners Signs on to United Nations-Supported Principles for Responsible Investment

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

LOS ANGELES, CA, February 14, 2023 – Impact Capital Partners has announced its decision to sign on to the United Nations-supported Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI), committing to provide, promote and improve services that support the implementation of the PRI principles. The PRI is recognized as the leading global network for investors who are committed to integrating environmental, social and governance (ESG) considerations into their investment practices and ownership policies. Impact Capital Partners will implement the principles in its screening and management of their impact investment offerings.

“We are honored to be accepted as a signatory of the Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI), and are thankful for the opportunity to join in this collective effort to promote and encourage responsible investing across the world,” said Sandy Goodman, Founder and Managing Partner at Impact Capital Partners. “After careful review of the PRI, we decided that implementing the principles put forth by this pioneering organization is a natural step for us in the evolution of our sustainable investment practices.”

The decision to join the PRI demonstrates to clients and other stakeholders that Impact Capital Partners is serious about responsible investment and is taking steps to embed it into their private placement platform. Looking ahead, Impact Capital Partners aims to engage with the PRI’s global network of over 2,500 investors, who share best practices and collaborate on responsible investment projects.

About The Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI)

In partnership with the UN, The Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI) aims to understand the investment implications of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors and help its international network of investor signatories include these factors in their investment and ownership decisions.

In signing the Principles, investors publicly commit to adopt and implement them, where consistent with our fiduciary responsibilities. Signatories also commit to evaluate the effectiveness and improve the content of the Principles over time. The PRI believes this will improve its ability to meet commitments to beneficiaries as well as better align investment activities with the broader interests of society.
