It looked like a typical afternoon as New Yorkers gathered in the popular city, but on this day, things were slightly different. Lights, cameras, makeup artists, film directors and actors piled into the 131 East Lounge which was transformed into a Brooklyn Italian social club. Patrons of the 131 East Lounge were excited to see a film crew in the neighborhood and wanted to learn more. The actors stood outside the front of the club, wearing pinky rings and jump suits, which was a flashback when Tony Soprano and his crew gathered outside the famed New Jersey pork store “Satriale’s”.

After hearing the news I did some research on the actors involved and I was able to make contact with Joe “Migz” Mignone who played the role of one of the gangsters in the mafia family. Although Mignone could not reveal too much information due to a non-disclosure agreement, he did have this to say:

“We are definitely filming a new mob series, it’s kind of a cross between The Sopranos and Analyze This but with its own unique twist. It will hands-down be the most talked about TV series in all of television when it comes out. I wish I could say more, but it will touch the lives of many people and I can only imagine the amount of memes that will come from it. Very BIG networks, such as Netflix will be in the hunt for this show. I’d like to thank my dear friend, the talented and funny Sharon Pfeiffer for giving me this opportunity. But that’s all I can say right now.”

Based on social media posts, it looks like the working title is “Brooklyn to Boca”.
