How To Get New Clients Fast In Your Business

When you run a business, one of the main things you need in order to grow and actually have a successful business is being able to have a consistent stream of clients, but for many people – especially those just starting out who have no audience and no idea how to build one, this can really seem like something that’s overwhelming and confusing.

However, the good news is that getting clients in your business really doesn’t have to be a complicated thing at all and can actually be quite simple if you just focus on the right things and don’t allow yourself to get caught up in all the hype or in what everyone else is doing.

So, if you’re currently finding yourself going through a bit of a struggle when it comes to getting clients, then in this post we’re going to share with you how to get clients fast in your business.

Focus on money-making activities:

One of the main reasons that so many business owners find it difficult or complicated to get clients is not because getting clients is difficult, but because they’re not focusing on the things that will bring them clients. For example, they’re busy tweaking their website, playing about with logos, trying to create systems, and basically doing all the other things in their business that make them feel productive, but that don’t make them money. If you want to have clients, then you need to get yourself out there and get in front of the people who you want to have as your clients. This will depend on the type of business you have, but you can do things like use social media to share your content, you can attend in person networking events, you can get featured on blogs and podcasts, you can reach out to people who you want to work for, you can create a high value sales funnel and use things like email or even SMS and drip marketing through something like sly broadcast, or a variety of other things that will generate revenue for you.

Create an offer:

If you want to sell something then you have to have something to sell, so especially if you’re an online business then you can create an offer that you can start promoting right away to make money. For example, if you’re a copywriter, then you could offer something like a blogging package, a website make-over, or you could even create a digital product or course that people can buy on repeat. The point is just having something of value that people can buy and that will truly help them. You already have a massive audience out there using social media, so it really isn’t as difficult as you think to attract the right people.

Give value:

One big mistake that people make over and over when it comes to marketing and selling themselves online is that they go too hard for the sale and don’t build up any kind of relationship beforehand. It’s almost like going into a bar and instead of striking up a converstion with someone you like the look of and maybe asking if you can buy them a drink, you straight up ask them to start dating you – or being on a first date and asking them to move in with you. This just doesn’t work with people when it comes to dating or in any area of life, so it’s not something that’s going to work on potential clients, either.

You have to spend some time giving value, showing why people should trust your expertise and why they should listen to you before you start trying to sell them things.

Focus on one strategy:

When it comes to choosing your sales and marketing strategy, there are really no right or wrong options – it’s just about finding what works for your business and you can always tweak as you go, but it’s just important that you focus on one for the beginning so that you can really master that and start seeing results before you move on to another strategy.

Whether it’s using content marketing, cold outreach, speaking or anything else, it’s always about finding what works for you in terms of what you enjoy, what you’re good at, what you can afford, both financially and time-wise, but it’s also about looking at what’s most likely to be effective, so by identifying where it’s going to be easiest to reach your clients, such as looking at what social media platforms they’re going to be using.
