Owasso, OK, August 27, 2025 — Tulsa native, Navy veteran, and finance professional Brandon Shreffler is officially launching his campaign for Tulsa County Treasurer, aiming to bring greater transparency, innovation, and accountability to how the county manages taxpayer dollars. Supporters are rallying behind the message of Shreffler for Tulsa County Treasure as election season kicks off.

A lifetime resident of Tulsa County, Brandon is running to give voters a fresh perspective, one shaped by decades of private sector experience across finance, Turnaround Services, telecommunications, and leadership. His background includes roles as a financial analyst, business manager, and senior manager at companies like ProBuild, Construction and Turnaround Services, and Verizon.

“I’m not a career politician, I’m a proud Oklahoman who believes the people deserve to know where their tax dollars go, and how they’re invested,” said Shreffler. “I want to take the mystery out of county finances and put information directly into the hands of the taxpayers.”

Shreffler’s vision for the Treasurer’s office includes:

• Hosting regular community finance meetings across Tulsa County to foster public understanding and dialogue.
• Reviewing county investments to minimize management costs and maximize transparency.
• Leveraging his private-sector leadership to streamline processes and cut unnecessary red tape.

“I want the people of Tulsa County to feel empowered and informed, not left in the dark when it comes to how their money is managed,” said Shreffler.

Brandon served five years in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Wyoming (SSBN 742) and continued his service in the Navy Reserve in Broken Arrow. He’s a Berryhill High School graduate, and earned both his BBA and MBA in Finance from Oklahoma universities. He currently resides in Owasso with his family and has served the community through leadership roles in youth sports and local finance committees.
