Get Offers The Nitty Gritty Selling your car is more than just agreeing on a price. We’ve rebuilt the full process from top to bottom. Here are some questions we hear from our sellers a lot
How does my car get transported to the buyer after it is sold?
Our dealership partners pay and arrange for transportation to their location after your car is sold. Our team will help you coordinate and schedule the pick-up of your car, and then the dealership handles the rest.
What if I have a loan on my car that still needs to be paid off?
Once the car is sold, we work with your lender to pay off the remainder of what’s owed. If your car’s sale price exceeds what’s owed, you get the difference. If your car’s sale price does not exceed what’s owed, we will reach out to you to coordinate the full payoff to the lender.
Who handles the paperwork and title transfer after my car is sold?
We do! Our team coordinates all details of the sale with the dealership. We are experts in making sure a sale goes smoothly and will work with you every step of the way to make sure you get paid, and the dealership gets your car and all necessary paperwork.
Do I get paid before you come to pick-up my vehicle?
In order to verify the condition and details of the vehicle, we initiate the ACH payment to your account at the time of pick-up. Funds are typically deposited to accounts within 3-5 business days.
Does Carmigo sell leases?
Carmigo cannot sell leased vehicles. All vehicles sold on Carmigo must be available for resale via our dealership partners.
How much does it cost to list on Carmigo?
It is free to list on Carmigo. We only charge you our $350 sell fee if your car sells at the price you agree to.
At what point am I locked in to selling on Carmigo?
You are only required to sell on Carmigo if your listing meets the reserve price that you set. If your offers come in below your reserve price, there is no commitment to sell and you owe us nothing.
Can I still sell on Carmigo if my car has mechanical problems?
Absolutely. We do require that the details of those mechanical problems be disclosed when you’re building your listing. This gives our dealerships the information they need to make a more informed purchase. Dealerships specialize in different types and conditions of cars, so there may still be a lot of interest in your car even if it has mechanical problems.
Who sells on Carmigo?
Individuals like you. Carmigo is not exclusive to any kind of seller. If you have a car and want to sell, we want to help you do that.
Who buys on Carmigo?
Our network of certified dealerships. We have worked to curate a network of dealerships who are dedicated to ensuring the best possible experience for our sellers. We’re picky about who we partner with so you can walk away with only great things to say about our service.
