The amount an infant learns the first twelve months is amazing. You do not need a lot of time or money to help boost your child's brain power. You can use every day moments to help your child increase his brain power. You don't them to boost your baby's brain power, you can use everyday moments to do that. Your baby's first twelve months of learning is going to be enjoyable.
You're helping your baby to learn every time he sees your smiling face.. Your morning time wake up routine is a good learning time as well. Whenever you smile at baby each morning and he smiles back that is your baby's brains mirror neurons working. Your baby learns from you, so the more you look and talk to baby the more he is going to learn how to communicate. You will not get much reaction from baby in the beginning when you are talking and smiling at him. But as time goes on he will start to smile back at you and then come the goo's and gaws, and that's your baby trying to form his very first words. So continue all those smiles and chatter.
Baby's enjoy playing and any kind of safe item can be a chance to learn. Babies like to touch and feel various textures. Help baby discover how things function. Push the button on a toy which makes sound, demonstrate to them a few times and they may try this by themselves. With this in mind any safe item can become a toy and learning experience at the same time. All things are brand new for baby, so even feeling new textures is quite the learning experience. You can watch baby react whenever you take a toy and push a button that makes sound. Keep showing them how to push the button and you'll be soon thrilled when they attempt to push the button themselves.
Your child also learns by watching. So keep baby near while you are completing chores, they love to watch while you're in motion. Also if baby does something that makes you smile, give them a big reaction, because if they get a result they are more likely to do it again to see you respond. Your baby learns a lot just by watching you. So keep your little one close while you are conducting your daily tasks at home. Your baby is always watching you and your reactions. Babies like the big reaction that you give them when they do something fun and silly. When you give him that big reaction, he is most likely do whatever he did again.
Just like us, babies need downtime. So while you read allow baby just to sit with you. This down time helps them process the information they have learned that day, and you can rest as well. Another relaxing activity for baby is the outdoors. You can enjoy reading a novel while baby sits with you. You can get a few chapters read, and baby will benefit from getting some down-time to process all that he has learned that day. Another way to have baby get some down time and learn at the same time is to take him outdoors. This allows him to look and find new things, but it is also calming at the same time.
Reading to you baby is an activity that can help them learn vocabulary and how to communicate, the sooner you start reading to him the better. Use emotion in your voice when you read, it helps baby learn that words and emotions go together. An added benefit is that babies find your reading the same book very calming.One of the best ways you can spend time with your baby is reading to him, no matter how young he is. Reading to your baby accomplishes a few things. You are helping your baby grow his vocabulary. By reading with emotion in your voice you are also teaching him that words and emotions go together. The second effect is that reading to your baby can calm him as well.
