Do's and Dont's of a Great Web Page
There are a lot more things through which your website can create wonders. Its not just that you need some magic pills to create that first impression in the minds of the visitors. There can be no second chance to create that first impression. Website development companies try their level best to build great websites. A great web page, is in itself the owner's identity. What are the essential traits of great Web sites? After you visit a site and find yourself staying awhile, what makes you stay? Or is that the downloading time takes away all you patience? What is the difference between your website and the others...? What makes it so special? Here, it is an attempt made to really equip you with some Do's and Dont's of a great web page. Do's:- 1.Always keep your titles self explanatory. A title should be self explanatory so that it is readily available with the readers to bookmark. 2.Always keep in mind that the length of your page should be not more than enough that the readers find it too long and boring. On the other hand, it ought not to be too short for the readers to find it inadequate. 3.Always try and compel your readers with your content. People hunt out for information and if they are not able to find any, they won't turn back again. 4.The images are the most important component of a great web page. It can either upgrade the ranking or degrade it. 5.Always keep the size of the image smaller, less than 12 Kb, image maps with text links— making the links more accessible and but of course, your image should save a purpose. Don't:- 1.Don't make use of those boring and static words to link any text, such as Click here. More descriptive link would prove much more helpful to the creation of a great web page. And don't forget to check your links every week to take into account if the links are working or not. 2.Don't let your readers feel that you are unreal, spammers will find you either ways. It can be very tempting to use the newest technology. But if you put something on your website that is not widely supported by the browsers that visit your site you could risk losing customers rather than gaining them. We are an instant gratification world, and unclear sites become instant losers. So just try and follow these Do's and Dont's and experience a great webpage that will not only add a boost to the quantity of readers but will also ensure quality.
