Diploma in Animation : 2 Years Full-Time (1 Year Foundation Course in Animation + 1 Year Specialization)

Diploma course is One of the most popular course at AAG . This program lays special emphasis on fundamental traditional skills and ranges all the way up to current state –of-the- art techniques and technologies.

This course is two-year, full-time Program in animation, starting with a comprehensive year-long Foundation Course. On successful completion of the 1st year Foundation Course, students go for a specialization stream in second year.

Foundation Course : First year

The one year foundation course ensures that every student learns the Core skills that are required to grasp a direct entry in the industrial flow. Each student go through different sphere of learning and experimentations like traditionally drawn animation exercises and followed by digital painting , flash animation and 3d animation. Apart from curriculum , you will gain exposure to the various aspects and application of animation in diverse fields.

Specialization (2nd Year):

The Second Year of the Diploma in Animation program is divided into Specializing Streams. Here you will also undertake individual projects with the intention of creating a professional qualitative demo reel and/or portfolio following industry standards under the watchful guidance of our industry-experienced instructors.

Under the advice of the department heads and on the basis of skill set developed in the Foundation Course, students choose a specialization and also pick an elective subject in any of the following streams :

* CharacterAnimation
* 3D Graphic Design
* Visual Effects
* Game Art & Design

We also accept students with relevant experience from other courses and institutions in this program : you have to submit your portfolio for review.
