Reminding You How Lucky You Are In Love This Thanksgiving Day
With all the pressures you encounter in your every day life, it’s human to sometimes overlook how lucky you are in love. You can’t help but sometime focus on the things that irritate you or bother you in your relationship, and oversee the admirable aspects in your life and in your partner. In the spirit of Thanksgiving Day, I believe that you should take a moment and reflect and focus on the worthy and nice things about your partner. I think that in order to have a heartfelt Thanksgiving Day celebration, its best to truly internalize and appreciate the little blessings you have in your relationship. Here are some of the things that you should be thankful for and worth mentioning in your prayers this Thanksgiving Day. * You have less to worry about during Holidays or vacation season. They say when you are lonely, it gets more lonely during Holidays, so be thankful that even if sometimes you cannot stop arguing, you still have somebody beside you who can keep you company during this time. * You have division of labor. It gets tiring to take care of everything on your own, especially in the house chores and obligations. Even if sometimes you don’t meet half way, at least you have somebody to help you around. * You don’t have to deal with crazy drivers on the freeway. Let’s face it driving can be really exhausting especially if other people are driving way too reckless. Having a partner who can take the wheel when you are too drained to deal with mad drivers can be quite a blessing. * You have your own handy-man. Let’s face it, your man can be such a pain in the neck sometimes, but when the sink doesn’t work or the light bulb needs changing, you have him to fix it for you. He may not perfectly repair them, but you got to give him “A” for effort. Appreciate this and thank him this Thanksgiving Day. * You have someone to zip your back. We, women have different sorts of clothing, and when it comes to wearing those dress where the zipper or button is in the back, it can be quite hard to zip it all up by yourself. * You have someone to snuggle or get cozy- up. Snuggling always feels good, especially this Thanksgiving day. So, even if you have your fair share of deadly feats around the house, be thankful that when things are fine and dandy, you have a partner to get comfortable with every night. * Literally and figuratively speaking, you have someone beside you. You may get to feel that sometimes he doesn’t understand you or he makes you feel alone, but you have to face reality that if you are in trouble he will have your back or if you have a rough time with your friends, you have him to listen to your disappointments. * You don’t take a minute or two to pause on who to write in your “in case of emergency person.” You have to realize that it is a blessing to know and to be aware who will take care of you when something unexpected happens. Thank your partner about this in Thanksgiving Day. There are so many things to be grateful for this Thanksgiving Day. I can write more than thousands of reasons, but I am only allowed a little more than 500 words to express these blessings. Why don’t you write your own personal list of something to be grateful for this Thanksgiving Day and read it to your partner instead? I’m sure he’ll be more than happy to hear it. Remember, life may not be perfect, but having a companion in life, where you can share life’s ups and downs is truly something worth celebrating.
