In the event that you should be involved in an accident, your possibly injured and definitely panicked pet could be a threat to the EMS teams and even inhibit their ability to treat you, as your Buddy could feel threaten, confused and even trying to protect you. There are additional dangers of your unrestrained pet causing a distraction while you are driving, or escaping the vehicle and causing a collision on the road. These are not pleasant scenario’s to think about but are all too real.

Having your dog roaming freely in your vehicle is extremely dangerous to him and to you. Just as you would not drive around with your children unrestrained, you should not travel with your pet unrestrained.
