When my ex-husband decided to use me and my two kids as blue-eye, blond footballs, I knew it was time to change our game plan and set my goal posts further afield. And I played hard ball and became a winner. You can too. The game of life can be easy or difficult. We choose and then we get to set the rules. But when you're a young single mother, and you don't have a job and you need to support your kids, it seems like the game is unfair. Well, it doesn't have to be. No matter what your background or circumstances, you can change things so that your score will be high. Maybe evne a touch down. As a private investigator who at at times had to serve as a counselor and advisor to abused or upset women, I looked deeply into myself to see what I learned that I could pass on. Primarliy, you must face yourself and ask the important questions, 1) Am I ready for the committment to myself and my children to be committed totally to their welfare 2) Can I create asafe and comfortable environment so they can grow strong and happy and 3) Can I do it alone? The answers are for you. Yes, should be your response. Next you must ask yourself, how can I do it? Well, in my case I got some help from my family and went into first the bail bonds business, one of the first females in the business and then went back to school. I eventually got my private investigators license. I did it mostly alone because I wasn't afraid to work hard and study hard and when the opportunity presented itself, play hard. What a struggle and how well worth it it was to see as a result of my manufactured independence two strong healthy and appreciative young adults. They became a major part of my accomplishements. And yours too if you will write for yourself and play by some rules. Make the move, the universe will assist you. Get the courage, have the will and just do it, the rewards very sweet.
