Malpractice Attorney - Life and Education
The business of malpractice attorney may sound like it contains lots and lots of economic incentive. But in truth it is not the profession you want to go after for "easy money". You need commitment to your job and a willingness to not have a personal life in order to become a malpractice attorney. If you want money, perhaps you should consider selling cars. If you want to try and change at least a little bit of the world and go into a somewhat prestigious profession, be a medical malpractice attorney. Off To University In America and Canada the degree in medical malpractice must be precursed by getting a GED or going to (and finishing) high school. After that you need to get a college degree in pre-law. Studying to become a malpractice attorney will always have to be built on this foundation. Law colleges requires students to pass an examination referred to as LSAT before accepting you. It is very similar to an ordinary SAT, but in a higher academic version. You need to send those scores and your copies of relevant documents from your previous college or university to your legal college or university. Then, after you are accepted to the legal college or university, you must work hard at two things. First and most obviously you will need to pass all course needed for the degree, which on average takes three years to accomplish. If at all possible, getting a job at a legal department as soon as possible is also highly recommended. In this case a law firm that have several malpractice attorneys on staff is of course an excellent choice. Getting The Bar The final stage is to take the appropriate bar (from "barrister") exam for your location. You would not be the first person to fail first time around, so don't worry about that. Your university will know where you need to take your exam. When you pass, give yourself a decent reward and move on to building your career.
