 by: Mario Churchill

"Last September was my daughter's birthday, so I gave her a motorcycle as my gift. Then, on October, my parents celebrated their golden anniversary, they have been that great so I treated them to a weeklong vacation in Greece. And this December, on Christmas day, I have four children, and two granddaughters to be given a special present." Many people are having this kind of thought, wherein for every month that is a new occasion that has to be celebrated.

Well, if you are the type of person who values each of these occasions, like birthdays, anniversaries, Christmas and etc, and never let the occasion slip off without letting these people feel how much you value them by giving them gifts. Surely, the thought of your straining pocketbook follows.

Maybe, you are too gallant to give personal electronics, an appliance, the newest model of cell phone, as your gifts. But as soon as it seems that the idea for these gadgets fade out, chances are you are going to move to the other types of gifts, gift certificate as such.

However, when the course of gift giving occasions get through some more rounds, where else are you going to turn, to something more expensive?

Because of the technological development, more and more people tend to turn to these electronic gadgets, thinking this will be more appreciated. Probably, but still the homemade gifts, the basic which most people tend to neglect in time, is still far more incomparable.

The thought of creating your own gift is far sweeter, more thoughtful, from the very thought that it generated from your own ideas, the product of planning and being crafty.

These crafts, aside that it undoubtedly came from the heart, do of course, requires lesser costs than when you shop for a gift from a store, giving your pocketbooks a relief at the same time. What is good in there is that you produce something which is not seen in the nearby store.

Yet, even if you think that you are not blessed with the dexterity in arts and crafts; you will still be able to manage to have your homemade gifts. You can do it by simply collecting photographs.

Since taking snapshots are part on the celebration of each occasion, you can make use of it. You can have those snapshots digitally imaged and print them afterwards. Now, you can either design your own photo frames or you buy one in the stores, and then let the photo inside of it.

You can also do your scrapbook, you can have your family stories told in pictures, and there you can gather every occasion you spent together. As for gifts, you can surprise your love ones by gathering their pictures and place it in their bedrooms, let the frames glued in their bedroom walls for instance, you can try any scheme that you think is sweet and would suit to the person's taste.

Then again there is the photo pocketbook.

This is a new trend that many people are getting crazy over. Photos can be imprinted in pocketbooks to have that own distinct design. You can do this yourself if you have the technology and know-how but you can also have it made through the numerous companies that offer them. You can choose from a variety of designs and have your own personal photos used for the cover design.

Through this you remind them with your love constantly. At the same time, your pocketbooks get no excessive leaks.

The idea of having the photo as your concept in giving your gifts gives them at the same time a unique treasure, and it doesn't dent your pocketbooks as well.
