Holiday parties can be incredibly fun. They can also be terrible. Much of this depends on who is there, but it also depends on what there is to do at the party. Most office parties and quite a few family parties are uncomfortable affairs because there is nothing to do other than eat and talk to one another. While these can be enjoyable, most people want to do something more than that with their evening. Some parties offer dancing, but a lot of individuals do not dance, and there is always the issue of what music to choose and whether everyone will like it. In addition, parties where alcohol is served can go downhill quickly if drinking is basically the only thing to do at the party.

In addition, the age of the participants should be taken into consideration. If the party consists of mostly older people, they likely do not want to play childrens games. If a holiday host pays attention to the details when planning his or her party, it is likely that he or she will be able to offer the best holiday party games and everyone will have a great time.
